The use of a photo box for employee photos

The staff in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves completely around the clock with their own employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically optimized to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in many formats and aspect ratios.

The solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the display.

The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be configured so that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way are then later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the recording.

Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or various backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also located, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined position.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the picture is used to compare the saved portrait and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory do not alone get the new recordings, there are three different ways for staff to receive their photos digitally.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN to which the staff has to dial.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the direct vicinity of the photo booth.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download the original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is then sent to the employee's email address.
