Our proposed solution
You position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to the photo booth, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be configured in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then subsequently part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra option.
The image output can take place in parallel in several sizes.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can be included in the image.

How does the staff get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to get their picture as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides a private WLAN which the staff must dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which staff can save their images. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
- Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download the original recording and the different versions for the different target systems.
