What should be achieved?

The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that no extra personnel is needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in some dimensions and aspect ratios.

The solution

You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees are allowed to stand in front of the photo booth, comparable to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Personal identification, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be programmed so that the data can be read in directly from the employee ID card. The employee data recorded in this way are then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be set up.

After the photo of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or many of the background settings you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the recorded portrait and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as options.

How does the employee get his photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new recordings, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his photo as a file.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the employee can copy down his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
