The mission goal

The employees in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that no extra personnel is needed on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically cut to the best possible format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photobox set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor, as with the photo booth.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.

How does the employee get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to receive his photo as a file.

  1. Download from an online gallery
    At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.
  2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
    The photobox provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
    At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
  3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
    The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's e-mail inbox.
