The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your staff the option to always identify 100% with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos can be independently adapted to the appropriate format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in various formats and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You place a photobooth set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Personal identification, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read out directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then later a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.

Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or various backrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the recorded portrait and the in-house employee data set via the name of the picture. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place in different sizes at the same time.
So you always have the ideal photo for

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee can be immediately visible on the picture.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new recordings, there are three different ways for employees to get their photo as a file.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the employee can use to download the original image and the various sizes for the various target systems.
2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is then sent to the employee's email address.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost of purchasing such a perfected photo booth starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is purchased directly.
