The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not required on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adjusted to the right format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Employee identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data is immediately read from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the photograph taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as optional add-ons.
The image output can take place simultaneously in several sizes.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to get their image digitally as well.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various versions for the various target systems.
