The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update their individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a location that changes at regular intervals (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your teams the opportunity to identify themselves completely around the clock with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.
The solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.
Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or various backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you have specified (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place simultaneously to some extent.
So you always have the right photo for
the CRM system, XING, WhatsApp & Co, Outlook

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the logo and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately on the picture.

At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original photo and the various versions for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can copy his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the direct vicinity of the photo box.
