The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your teams the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently adapted to the best format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in several formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read out directly from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way will later become an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be set up.
Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you have specified (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place simultaneously in several dimensions.

How does the photographed person get their photo?

- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original recording as well as the various versions for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The Photobox provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can copy his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the direct vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
