What should be achieved?

The staff in your company are given the option to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically optimized to the best possible format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in various formats and aspect ratios.

The solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personal identification, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read out immediately from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.

After the photo of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can automatically be exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. Likewise, the head of each photo is found, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a specified position.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio determined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can happen in several sizes at the same time.

How does the employee get his photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for staff to get their image as a file.

  1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
    The photobooth provides a private WLAN that the staff has to dial into.
    At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photobox.
  2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
    The photo taken is then sent to the employee's email address.
  3. Download from an online gallery
    At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to load their original photo and the various formats for the different target systems.
