The mission goal

The employees in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the human resources department, at the ID office or at reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen, similar to the photo booth.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the business card. The data recorded in this way is later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be set up with a sharing option for internal/external use of the image.

After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is identified, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved image and the internal employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in different dimensions at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position will be visible directly on the image.

How does the photographed person get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to get their photo digitally.

1. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email address.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the company employees can use to download their original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.

Alternative uses

In order to make the most of your purchase, you have the following options:

• Production of biometric passport photos and ID photos
• Photos of groups of visitors, for example after a tour of the company

The cost frame

The price for purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
