The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company have the option of photographing and / or updating their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box, comparable to a passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can simply be read in from the employee ID. The data collected in this way are then later an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds that you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.
The image is saved in a size and format that you specify (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the picture is used to compare the saved portrait and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place synchronously in various dimensions.

How did the staff get the photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new recordings, there are three different ways for staff to get their picture digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the staff can save their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download the original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.
- Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo will be sent directly to the employee's email address.

1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is kept directly.
