The use of a photo box for employee photos

The field service employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not required on site.
You give your teams the opportunity to always identify themselves to 100% with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically optimized to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.

The solution

You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees will sit down in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read out immediately from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way are then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.

After the photo of the employee has been taken, the background of the photo can automatically be exchanged for one or more background settings you have specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the picture is used to compare the saved portrait and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.

As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place in parallel in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can also be visible on the picture.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, the sales representative can choose between three different ways to get his photo digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is then sent to the employee's email address.
2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the sales representative has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the sales representative can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the sales representative can use to copy down his or her original photo and the various sizes for the different target systems.
