The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your teams the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their own employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically optimized to the best possible format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in many shapes and aspect ratios.
The solution
You can position a photo booth that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor, just like with the passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read immediately from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the employee photo has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also identified, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the photograph taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place in several sizes at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can be directly visible on the image.

How does the employee get his photo?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the workforce to choose from to get their picture as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides a private WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the staff can copy their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the workforce can use to download their original photo and the different versions for the different target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email address.

Of course there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
