What should be achieved?

The employees in your company are given the opportunity to take a photo of their personal employee photo and/or update it at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various shapes and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, just like with the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be set up with a sharing option for internal/external use of the image.

Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the photographed portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place synchronously in several forms.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with a company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can appear directly on the image.

How did the staff come to the picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get his picture as a file.

1. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo is sent immediately to the employee's mailbox.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photo Box provides a private WLAN which the employee must dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original recording and the various sizes for the various target systems.

Additional deployment options

In order to make the best possible use of the purchase, you have the following options:

The cost frame

The price for purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
