The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The personal photos can be cut to the best possible format by machine, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in a number of dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo booth, similar to the photo booth, and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a release option for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be set up.
After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the photographed portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the connection.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place in parallel in different dimensions.

Logically, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be included directly in the image.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to receive his photo as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original photo and the different versions for the different target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN, which the employee must dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery where the employee can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
Further deployment options
In order to make the best possible use of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame

Of course, there is also the option of trying out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is adopted immediately.
