What should be achieved?

The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the opportunity to identify themselves completely around the clock with their own employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically adjusted to the appropriate format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box, just like with a passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read immediately from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and format defined by you (eg square for the Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the photo taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image can be output in various formats at the same time.
So you always have the best photo for
XING, WhatsApp & Co, Twitter, Outlook, Instagram
etc. at hand.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the company logo and/or the employee's name and position can be directly visible on the image.

How do the staff get their picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory gets the benefit of the new recordings, there are three different ways for the employees to get their picture as a file.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photobooth provides a private WLAN into which the employee has to dial in.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can copy their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various sizes for the different target systems.
3. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's e-mail inbox.

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment

The price for the purchase of a photobooth adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.

Customer ratings

Since the system was introduced in 2019, two systems have been permanently installed in Germany and Zurich.
