The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their own employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically optimized to the ideal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photobooth in a similar way to a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be configured in such a way that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved photo and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image can be output in many formats at the same time.
So you always have the best possible photo for

etc. within easy reach.
Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position can be directly visible on the image.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employees to get their photo digitally.

In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the company employee can use to download their original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.
Additional uses
