What should be achieved?
The staff in your company are given the chance to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your employees the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently optimized to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photobooth set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the operating instructions for the required steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then later part of the file name of the employee photo.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo can also be set up.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can automatically be exchanged for one or different backgrounds that you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a specified location.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved image and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in several dimensions at the same time.

How does the photographed person get the photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory does not alone get the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to get their picture as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the staff can use to download the original recording and the different sizes for the different target systems.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the staff can copy their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
Alternative deployment options
To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The cost frame
