The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You can place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID. The employee data recorded in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the recording.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many of the background settings you specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified location.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the photographed portrait and the in-house employee data record via the name of the picture. A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in various forms.

How does the photographed person get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory gets into possession of the new recordings, the staff can choose between three different ways to get their photo as a file.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the staff can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Of course, there is also the possibility to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept directly.
