What should be achieved?
The staff in your company have the option of photographing their own employee photo and/or updating it at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra staff is not needed on the spot.
You give your staff the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adjusted to the best format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photobooth set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor, just like with the passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be configured in such a way that the data is read directly from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way will later become an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the image.
After photographing the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or various backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the portrait taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can be done in many dimensions at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be "personalized" with logos and/or the designation and position of the employee can be directly visible on the image.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new pictures, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to get their picture digitally as well.

In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN to which the staff has to dial.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery where staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to load their original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.

The cost frame
The price for purchasing a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
