The use of a photo box for employee photos

The staff in your company have the option of photographing their own employee photo and/or updating it at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
This gives your workforce the option of fully identifying themselves around the clock with their individual employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in a number of shapes and aspect ratios.

Our proposed solution

You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen, just like with the passport photo machine.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data recorded in this way is then subsequently an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the recording.

After the employee photo has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also identified, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can happen in several dimensions at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with a company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?

To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for staff to choose from to receive their photo as a file.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to copy their original recording and the various versions for the various target systems.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The Photobooth provides its own WLAN, which the staff must dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the staff can load their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Other possible uses

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:
