What should be achieved?

The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to identify themselves completely at any time with their personal employee photo.

The personal photos can be automatically adapted to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You can place a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo booth and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen, as with the passport photo machine.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read immediately from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then subsequently an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be displayed.

Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the portrait taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.

As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place in parallel in many dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" using the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can be included directly in the image.

How does the employee get their photo?

To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get their photo digitally as well.

  1. Download from an online gallery
    At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the different formats for the various target systems.
  2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
    The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
    At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
  3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
    The captured photo is then sent directly to the employee's mailbox.

The cost frame
