The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update their individual employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves completely around the clock with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adjusted to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.

Our proposed solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as e.g. B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the photo.

After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the photograph taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in parallel in different dimensions.
So you always have the ideal photo for
Outlook, Facebook, the CRM system, Instagram, XING
etc. within easy reach.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will be immediately visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get the picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo will be sent directly to the employee's inbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to copy down his or her original photo and the different formats for the various target systems.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Additional uses

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

• Creation of biometric passport photos and ID photos

The cost frame

The cost of buying a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.

Customer ratings

Since the system was introduced in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in this country and in Zurich.
