What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to identify themselves around the clock to 100% with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically cut to the right format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also determined, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the connection.
As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
Image output can happen in many forms simultaneously.
So you always have the right photo for
LinkedIn, the CRM system, WhatsApp & Co, Facebook
etc. at hand.
Of course, each file can also be "branded" with logos and/or the name and position of the employee will be visible directly on the image.

How does the photographed person get their photo?
To ensure that the CRM system or ActiveDirectory is not the only one to benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to also receive their photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box.
Additional deployment options
In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment
The cost of purchasing a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 or more employees.
Of course there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for 650 € + 1 € / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept directly.
