The mission goal

The field staff in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at locations that change on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not required on site.
You give your workforce the option to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be independently adjusted to the best possible format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.

The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up in such a way that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way later becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the recording.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved photo and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image can be output in several formats at the same time.
So you always have the ideal photo for
the CRM system, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, XING
etc. ready.

Logically, each file can also be "personalized" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will be directly visible on the image.

How does the staff get their photo?

To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory are not the only ones to get hold of the new photos, the sales representative can choose from three different ways of getting his photo digitally.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to download the original photo and the different versions for the different target systems.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photobox provides its own WLAN that the field service employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where the sales representative can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is sent directly to the worker's mailbox.

Alternative uses

In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

• Photos of groups of visitors, for example after a presentation
• Use at sales force parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Production of biometric passport photos and ID photos
• Employee photos (as already explained)
• Use at trade fairs to create personalized "flyers"

The need for investment

The investment for the purchase of a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
