The mission goal

The field staff in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your workforce the opportunity to always identify themselves to 100% with their personal employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.

Our proposed solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the cafeteria, at the ID office or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to the photo booth and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.

After photographing the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the photographed portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in several sizes at the same time.

etc. at hand.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be immediately included in the picture.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to choose from to get his photo digitally as well.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to download his original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.
2. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email address.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photobox provides a private WLAN that the field service employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the field worker can save his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Other uses

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

• Photo attraction at customer events & meetings
• Use at sales force parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Pictures of groups of visitors, e.g. after a lecture
• Use at trade fairs to issue personalized “flyers”
• Employee photos (as described above)

The need for investment

The price for purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for 650 € + 1 € / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
