The use of a photo box for employee photos

The staff in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at locations that change on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your employees the chance to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.

The personal photos can be cut to the ideal format by machine, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.

Our proposed solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the cafeteria, at the ID office or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photobooth in a similar way to a passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed at a defined location on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place at the same time in different dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be "personalized" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will be immediately included in the picture.

How does the employee get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the workforce to choose from to also receive their photo as a file.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to load their original recording and the various formats for the different target systems.
2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's e-mail address.

Alternative uses

In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

• Use at trade fairs to issue personalized “flyers”
• Use at staff parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Employee photos (as described above)
• Production of biometric passport photos and ID photos
• Photos of groups of visitors, for example after a tour of the company

The cost frame

The price for purchasing a photobooth optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
