The use of a photo box for employee photos

The workforce in your company has the opportunity to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional staff are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to always identify themselves to 100% with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the best format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in many shapes and aspect ratios.

Our proposed solution

You can place a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read in directly from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal / external use of the employee report can also be displayed.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or more of the backgrounds you have specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined position.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the photographed image and the internal employee data record via the name of the image. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place in parallel in different formats.

Logically, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee can be on the picture immediately.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new recordings, there are three different ways for the workforce to get their picture digitally.

1. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the staff can copy down their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the direct vicinity of the photo booth.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download the original image and the various sizes for the various target systems.
3. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is then immediately sent to the employee's e-mail inbox.
