The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the chance to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your staff the option to identify themselves completely around the clock with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be independently adapted to the ideal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the required actions on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel number, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the recording.

Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or more backrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved image and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the image. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.

A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place at the same time in different dimensions.

How does the employee get the photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, the employee can choose between three different ways to get his picture digitally.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the employee can use to download his or her original photo and the different versions for the various target systems.
2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email address.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photobooth provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photobox.

In order to make the most of the purchase, you have the following options:

The price for buying a photo box optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is kept immediately.
