The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a rotating location (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your teams the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the ideal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in a number of formats and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo booth like in a photo booth and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read immediately from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also identified for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the image. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in several dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with a company logo and/or the designation and position of the employee can be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?

The Photo Box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery where the employee can download their images. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original photo as well as the various versions for the different target systems.
