What should be achieved?

The employees in your company are given the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their own employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically cut to the best format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and saved in various sizes and aspect ratios if desired.

One possible solution

You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the personnel department, at the ID office or at reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the display, just like with the photo booth.

The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the image can also be set up.

After the employee photo has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the photo taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in several sizes at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for
XING, Facebook, the CRM system, LinkedIn, WhatsApp & Co, Outlook, Instagram
etc. are available.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position can be directly visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get the picture?

So that it is not just the CRM system or the Active Directory that benefits from the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to also receive their image digitally.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is then sent to the employee's mailbox.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.

Additional uses

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

• Recordings of groups of visitors, for example after a presentation
• Use at employee parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Use at trade fairs to create personalized "flyers"

The cost frame

The investment for the purchase of a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.

Customer ratings

Since the system was implemented in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in Germany and Zurich.
