The mission goal
The staff in your company have the option of photographing and / or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be displayed.
After the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or various backgrounds you have specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined position.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the picture is used to compare the saved picture and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.
As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place in parallel in different dimensions.

How did the staff get the photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory do not alone get the new photos, the staff can choose between three different ways to receive their photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download the original photo and the various sizes for the different target systems. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the staff can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
