The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional personnel on site.
You give your workforce the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the best possible format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobox can also be programmed so that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be displayed.
After the photo of the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or many of the background settings you have specified. The head is also found in every photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The image will be saved in a size and aspect ratio determined by you (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved photo and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as options.
The image output can take place in various forms at the same time.

How does the staff get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory gets into possession of the new recordings, the employee has three different ways to choose to receive his photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.
- Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photobox.
