The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra employees on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to always identify themselves to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in many shapes and aspect ratios.
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the human resources department, at the ID office or at reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen, just like with a passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information, e.g. B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read directly from the company ID card. The employee data collected in this way then subsequently becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be set up.
After the employee picture has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place simultaneously in many dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position will be immediately visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory gets the benefit of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo as a file.
- Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the photo taken will be sent directly to the employee's email address.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the various formats for the different target systems.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobox provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can load their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

In order to make the best possible use of the purchase, you have the following options:

The cost frame
The investment for the purchase of a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
Since the system was introduced in 2019, two systems have been set up permanently in this country and in Zurich.
