The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
This gives your workforce the chance to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically optimized to the best format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in many shapes and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the display.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way will later become a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds you have specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the saved image and the internal employee data record via the name of the image. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can happen in many forms at the same time.
So you always have the ideal photo for

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee are directly visible on the picture.

How does the employee get their photo?

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his or her original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.
2. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:
