What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on the spot.
You give your teams the option to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically adapted to the ideal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the personnel department, at the ID card office or in a quiet corner at reception.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is located, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the picture taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as options.
The image output can take place in parallel in several dimensions.
So you always have the right photo for

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with the company logo and/or the designation and position of the employee will be immediately visible on the image.

How did the staff get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new pictures, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get his picture as a file.

The photobox provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original image and the different sizes for the various target systems.

Of course there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for 650 € + 1 € / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
