What should be achieved?
The staff in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).

The staff photos can be cut to the right format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in many shapes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photobooth set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Alternatively, a disclaimer screen can be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a defined position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved photo and the internal employee data record via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place in many forms at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with logos and/or the employee's name and position can be directly visible on the image.

How does the employee get his photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to choose from to get their photo digitally as well.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to copy their original photo and the different versions for the different target systems.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the staff can load their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

The cost frame
The price for purchasing a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over directly.
