Record clean employee admissions independently in St. Ingbert
Reading time approx. 4 minutes.
Would you always keep your inventory of employee admissions for one of the following areas up to date?
- the CRM
- HR systems
- Passport photos for travel planning
- Time cards
Then a photo booth is from Photo Booth Deluxe worth a moment of your time.
The mission goal
The employees in your company have the option of taking their own employee photo and / or bringing it up to date at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
This gives your staff the option to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the ideal format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with a passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read out immediately from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After the photo of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more of the background settings you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the photographed portrait and the internal employee data set. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in different forms at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for
XING, the CRM system, Instagram, WhatsApp & Co
etc. at hand.
Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with logos and / or the name and position of the employee will also be visible on the picture.
Advantages of automated photo processes for professional employee photos
- minimized work time
- the employee photo box is noticeably cheaper than a hired photographer
- Extra data acquisition before or during the recording sequence
- Employee admission according to your corporate design
- Self-made perfect staff photos in the highest DSLR quality and studio flash technology
- even the name of the person photographed can be automatically inserted into the picture without manual rework.
- RAW data is also saved as required
- automatic branding with your background and logo.
How does the employee get his picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new recordings, the employee has three different ways to choose to receive his photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his or her original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's email inbox.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photobox provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following possible uses:
- Photos of groups of visitors, for example after a presentation
- Employee photos (as already explained)
- Use at trade fairs to create personalized "flyers"
- Recording of biometric passport photos and ID photos
- Use at employee parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
- Photo attraction at customer events & congresses
The need for investment
The price for purchasing a photo box that has been adapted in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
Since the implementation of the system in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in Germany and Zurich.
Both at WWZ AG in Zurich and at Haufe Lexware, the system is very popular with employees.
