The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company get the chance to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the chance to identify themselves completely at any time with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically optimized to the right format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various sizes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo booth and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen, as with the passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed at a defined point on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved image and the internal employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in several forms.

How does the employee get the picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his photo as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery where the employee can download his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original recording and the various formats for the different target systems.

The cost frame

Of course, there is also the chance to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is bought directly.
