The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees on site are not required.
You give your teams the option to always identify themselves to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the ideal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, similar to the photo booth, and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information, e.g. B. Employee identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved photo and the internal employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in many formats.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get his photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his picture as a file.
- Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
The captured photo is then sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can load his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Of course there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased immediately.
