What should be achieved?
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra personnel on site.
You give your employees the chance to always identify 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically optimized for the best format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and optionally saved in various shapes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with a passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personal identification, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up so that the data can be read in directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or many of the backrounds you specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified location on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved image and the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place at the same time in various dimensions.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new recordings, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his picture as a file.

At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his or her original photo and the various versions for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

The need for investment
The cost of purchasing such a perfected photo box starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for businesses with around 100 employees.
Of course there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
