The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update the personal employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your teams the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their own employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in a number of sizes and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo booth and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen, similar to the photo booth.

The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The data collected in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is identified, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified location on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.

How does the photographed person get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the company employees to choose from to also receive their picture digitally.

  1. Download from an online gallery
    At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.
  2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
    The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
    At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can copy their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
  3. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
    The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's e-mail inbox.
