What should be achieved?
The staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves completely with their own employee photo at any time.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the right format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios if desired.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees will sit in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is simply read in from the business card. The data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the image.
After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the photographed portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place simultaneously in different sizes.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position can be immediately visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to get their picture as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which staff can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to copy their original photo and the various formats for the various target systems.
Other possible uses
In order to make the best use of the purchase, you have the following options:

The cost frame
The cost of purchasing a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
Customer ratings
Since the system was introduced in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in Germany and Zurich.
