The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not required on site.
You give your teams the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adjusted to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo booth, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up so that the data can simply be read from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way then subsequently becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is identified, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the recorded image and the in-house employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place synchronously in several forms.
So you always have the right photo for
XING, Instagram, the CRM system, WhatsApp & Co, Facebook, Outlook

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with a company logo and/or the employee's name and position can be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get his photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get his picture digitally.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy their original photo and the various formats for the various target systems.

Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
