The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra staff is not needed on the spot.
You give your staff the chance to identify themselves 100% with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adapted to the ideal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various formats and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data, e.g. B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the photo.
After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place in parallel in several dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with logos and/or the designation and position of the employee will appear directly on the image.

How does the employee get the picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or ActiveDirectory are not the only ones to get hold of the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to choose how to get their photo digitally.
- Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original image and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobox provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can save their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
Other deployment options
To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment
The investment for the purchase of such a perfected photo box starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the photo box is bought directly.
