What should be achieved?

The staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update the personal employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
This gives your workforce the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adjusted to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.

The solution

You position a photo booth perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the personnel department, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen, just like with a passport photo machine.

The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Employee identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read immediately from the company ID card. The information collected in this way then subsequently becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the image.

After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.

As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place in several formats at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for
the CRM system, Facebook, LinkedIn, XING, WhatsApp & Co, Twitter
etc. ready.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position can be immediately visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new pictures, there are three different ways for the workforce to choose from to get their picture as a file.

1. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides a private WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to copy their original photo and the various formats for the various target systems.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.

Further deployment options

In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following options:

• Photo attraction at customer events & meetings
• Use at trade fairs to produce personalized “flyers”
• Use at staff parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Photos of groups of visitors, e.g. after a lecture
• Production of biometric passport photos and ID photos
• Employee photos (as explained above)

The need for investment

The investment for the purchase of a photobooth optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased immediately.
