What should be achieved?

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their own employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically optimized to the right format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in a number of shapes and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit in front of the photo box in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). A comparison is made between the recorded image and the in-house employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place in various forms at the same time.

etc. within easy reach.

Logically, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can be visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo digitally.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touch screen, which the employee can use to copy his original recording as well as the various versions for the various target systems.
2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's e-mail inbox.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photobox provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which employees can load their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Alternative uses

In order to get the most out of your purchase, you have the following options:

• Production of biometric passport photos and ID photos

The need for investment

The price for the purchase of such a perfected photo box starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.

Customer ratings

Since the system was implemented in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in Germany and Switzerland.
