What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically optimized to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, analogous to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read immediately from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is identified, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.

How does the employee get his picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to get their photo as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the various versions for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobox provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery where the employee can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email inbox.
