The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company get the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to always identify 100% with their own employee photo.

The personal photos can be independently optimized to the ideal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in many shapes and aspect ratios.

The solution

You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box like in a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Personal identification, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data is simply read in from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be presented with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the photo.

After photographing the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a defined position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved image and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the connection.

As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.

How does the photographed person get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory gets the benefit of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo digitally.

  1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
    The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
    At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can download his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
  2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
    Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email address.
  3. Download from an online gallery
    At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.
