The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that no extra personnel is needed on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adjusted to the best possible format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box, just like with a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, first name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read out immediately from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be displayed with a sharing option for internal/external use of the photo.
Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head is located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored image and the in-house employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are also available.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get his photo as a file.

The photobox provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can load his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the various formats for the different target systems.
